Margarita Grilled Chicken

Savor the tangy kick of lime, the subtle sweetness of orange, and a hint of tequila-infused bliss in every bite. It's like a vacation for your palate!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1/2 cup Papa Jack’s Margarita Lime Time marinade (plus extra for basting)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Zest of 1 fresh lime

  • Juice of 1 fresh lime

  • 1/4 cup agave nectar


Instructions:

Marinate the Chicken:
Place chicken thighs in a bowl or zip-top bag. Add 1/2 cup Margarita Lime Time, season lightly with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Let sit for 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the fridge.

Preheat the Grill:
Heat your grill to 500°F for direct grilling.

Grill the Chicken:
Place chicken thighs directly on the grill grates. Cook for 5–7 minutes per side, basting with additional Margarita Lime Time marinade as you flip, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Finish with a Bright-Sweet Glaze:
Remove chicken from the grill and immediately drizzle with lime juice and agave nectar, then sprinkle with lime zest. This gives a vibrant citrusy finish with a kiss of sweetness.

Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes. Serve hot with your favorite sides—grilled corn, rice, or a fresh salad pair great.
