Shrimp BLTs

These Shrimp BLTs, or "BLTs with a Twist" are a perfect way to jazz up your breakfast or lunch.  Made with the help of Papa Jacks Fin & Feather Marinade, the shrimp literally soak up the garlic butter when pan frying and are the star of this dish.



  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp. Papa Jacks Fin & Feather Marinade
  • 1 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 8 slices of bread (thickly sliced)


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy. Remove the bacon from the oven and let cool.

  3. Season the shrimp with the Old Bay Seasoning and Cajun Seasoning and mix well. 

  4. Add 1 Tbsp. Papa Jacks Fin & Feather Marinade to the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.

  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.  Melt 4 Tbsp. butter in the skillet and sauté the garlic for 1 minute or until fragrant.

  6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  7. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

  8. To assemble the sandwiches, spread the mayo on each slice of toast. Layer the lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cooked shrimp on top of the mayo.

  9. Top with the remaining slice of toast and secure with toothpicks.

  10. Serve the Shrimp BLTs immediately, garnished with avocado slices and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, if desired.
